The True Meaning of Faith | The Evident

Greetings,

I am Arjun, a student in the tenth standard. Among the many experiences of my life, today stands as the most treasured. I had the fortune of visiting the sacred Ramaswami Temple in Ayodhya, a place of breathtaking beauty and profound splendor. Visiting temples has always been a cherished wish of mine.

Later, as I wandered through a bustling bazaar, an unexpected incident occurred—a thief snatched my bag, which contained all my valuables. At that very moment, a noble Muslim gentleman intervened, caught the thief, and returned my belongings to me.

Filled with astonished gratitude, I looked at him. I could not help but ask him about the Babri Masjid, which had been destroyed in the past by followers of the Hindu faith. In response, he gently reminded me that true religion teaches that all human beings are brothers, regardless of history or conflict.

That moment touched my heart deeply and transformed my understanding of God and humanity. Now, I have chosen to embrace the path of Islam.
